StrongMail enters into agreement with Rackspace Hosting

CBR Staff Writer Published 03 November 2008

StrongMail Systems, a provider of e-mail delivery, personalization and management software, has entered into an agreement with Rackspace Hosting to become a strategic partner in the Rackspace partner network.

This relationship features reseller and referral programs between the two companies, as well as a new hosted deployment offering for StrongMail's marketing and transactional e-mail services, StrongMail On-Demand.

The new relationship marries StrongMail's technology with hosting services from Rackspace, giving companies multiple deployment options for commercial-grade marketing and transactional email services. The combined offering provides companies with the benefits of an on-premise solution with no hidden fees like those associated with an ESP offering, and without having to apply IT resources for ongoing system maintenance and management.

Sam Cece, CEO of StrongMail Systems, said: Teaming with Rackspace enables us to extend our business to a whole new category of customers those who want the benefits of an on-premise solution without having to host and manage it. We chose Rackspace as our hosting partner because of their reputation as the industry's premier IT hosting company and because they share our philosophy toward customer support. The result is an unrivaled email marketing platform for customers who prefer a hosted solution in a high-security environment.
