LOTOS Group also leverages Microsoft Lync on their desktop PCs

Unified communications firm Polycom has been selected by oil products producer and supplier LOTOS Group to provide a total unified communications application to connect its 5,000 employees in different offices to increase productivity through video collaboration.

Along with the decision to expand its video collaboration application, LOTOS Group also leverages Microsoft Lync on their desktop PCs which are connected with Polycom RealPresence video applications to provide an enhanced unified communications experience.

Employees can now check whether people are present at their desks, IM them to ask about their availability for a meeting, and calendar, initiate, or join a high-definition videoconference from their PC using the UC application.

Polycom provides LOTOS Group with the applications that deliver advanced features and HD video, voice, and content-sharing to make visuals lifelike and meetings productive.

LOTOS Group is now offered with lower business travel costs and improved employee productivity. The company also encourages knowledge sharing by communicating to employees effectively and economically.
